An AR capable of reaching 1,000 meters or more.
The AR-10 and LR-308 helped make the AR platform a proper bench rifle, but the .308 Winchester load chambered in those guns can only do so much. For serious shooters who want to remove all limiting factors from their rifle and ring steel at record-setting distances, a 6.5 Creedmoor AR is the one to build. Our Creedmoor kits are carefully configured to afford any shooter just that: Reliable accuracy beyond what the AR could ever do before.
The Creedmoor cartridge is a high-performance round designed specifically to fit in semiautomatic short-action rifles -- specifically, the .308 AR platform. Although it provides virtually twice the accuracy as .308 Winchester up to 1,000 meters, it still utilizes most .308 parts. That includes the upper and lower receivers, lower parts kit, buffer system and buttstock, and handguards. Only the bolt, extractor, and barrel are different between the two cartridges.

Our Creedmoor kits include all the parts necessary to assemble your new rifle, except for the firearm component of the AR platform: The stripped lower receiver. You have two choices in obtaining a stripped lower to assembly your rifle. You may purchase a stripped receiver from an FFL, or you can fabricate a .308 80% lower (available here) with a .308 jig.
Contrary to federal law, some states have either restricted or banned the sale, transfer, and ownership of 80% lowers, firearm blanks, and other gun parts. Because of these restrictions, we cannot ship our products to certain states. Please confirm whether your state is restricted on our Shipping & Return Policy before placing an order. We cannot fulfill orders to restricted states if placed.
