Obtain maximum range and accuracy with an AR9 Rifle Build Kit.
The 9mm cartridge was designed for handgun barrels. It offers good velocity and performance out of barrels measuring as short as 4". But 9mm still has plenty of room to stretch its speed, obtaining incredible accuracy when chambered in a 9mm rifle configuration. That's why we've carefully crafted these high-quality AR9 rifle build kits.
The 9mm cartridge's available loads vary in weight. Heavier loads require more dwell time (the length of time gas is pressurized and accelerating the round) to obtain optimal velocity. By choosing to build an AR9 rifle instead of a pistol, you'll obtain the maximum velocity across all 9mm loads, guaranteeing the greatest accuracy possible.
Plus, you can more easily install a proper buttstock on your AR9 rifle. AR-type pistols cannot have any stock installed, lest they be registered as a short-barreled rifle (SBR), first. This can be expensive and time-consuming, requiring an enhanced background check and fingerprinting through the ATF.
Lastly, an AR9 rifle stabilizes and handles the recoil of heavy +P loads better. That means you can obtains velocities as high as 1,750 FPS -- that's enough "juice" out of the muzzle to effectively hit targets beyond 200 meters.
