The AR-15's A2 "birdcage" flash hider was created with a great design. It expells gas, usually in five directions, pointed in several upward and side-facing paths. It keeps your visual path to the target flash free, so you can quickly get back on target to take follow-up shots. However, with certain rifle builds, sometimes controlling recoil is more important than controlling flash. When being fast with follow-up shots matters as much as being accurate, or even if you just need to take the edge off your rifle's kick, you're going to need a muzzle brake instead of a flash hider.
With that in mind, we give you the Midwest Industries 2-Chamber Muzzle Brake. Once you install it, you'll immediately notice a difference in perceived recoil.
