The Magpul Angled Fore Grip (AFG-2) has a slim design due to the fact that this fore grip has a shorter length and width compared to Magpul's previous model, the AFG. There is more control and less recoil using this fore grip since the shooter's hand is placed in the center of the bore rather than a traditional vertical grip, where the shooter's hand is placed vertically. Since the AFG 2 is smaller in size, this also allows for less fatigue and higher accuracy when taking shots. With this fore grip taking up less surface area, this allows for more compatibility between other rail covers and accessory mounts.
