The popular, affordable Elite Builder 80% Jig has been reconfigured to serve the ever-growing .308 AR market: Re-tooled to accept the DPMS-patterned LR-308 80% lowers, the Elite Builder Jig allows any shooter to part together an accurate, custom .308 rifle from scratch without breaking the bank.
You can also now choose to include the enhanced drill plate to further make it easier for you to drill and hollow out your fire control group pocket.
PLEASE NOTE: Tooling for this jig is optional. You'll need to select whether you would like accompanying tooling with your jig.
Quality HSS-Tungsten Bits
The jig’s just half the equation -- the bits you cut and drill your receiver with matter just as much. So, Elite Builder came up with some high-quality HSS (high-speed steel) bits. These tungsten-reinforced bits provide superior accuracy and resistance against wear, allowing you to complete any forged or billet lower with confidence. Choose the option to add them onto your jig to ensure the most accurate milling and drilling possible. The tool kit includes:
- (1) ⅜ Drill Bit - 5”
- (1) 5/32 Drill Bit - 3”
- (1) ⅜ Short End Mill - 3”
- (1) 5/16 Short End Mill - 4”
- (1) ⅜ Long End Mill - 4”
